Safeguarding
AIR Care is committed to protecting adults from abuse, neglect, exploitation and avoidable harm. Staff are expected to recognise concerns, protect immediate safety, report without delay and record facts accurately.
Safer recruitment
Recruitment may include identity and right-to-work checks, employment history, references, DBS checks, qualification review and values-based assessment.
Training and competence
Training is matched to role and client needs and may include safeguarding, medication prompting, autism, learning disability, mental health, communication, first aid, fire safety, lone working, consent, record keeping and positive behaviour support.
Incidents and complaints
Incidents, accidents, near misses and complaints are reviewed to protect safety, understand what happened, update plans and improve practice.

Personal information is collected, used and shared only where there is a lawful and necessary reason.
